Excellent Product and Experience

The knife is excellent, as expected. Used recently to slice tough fish skin and it was effortless and clean.

Maybe more impressive to me are 2 things:
(1) is the education provided on the website of the varieties and befits of the different types of steel, etc. used in knife making. That was incredibly helpful.
(2) the care taken when shipping. The knife was wrapped beautifully in Japanese newspaper and had handwritten notes from the owner. Lovely, unique, and rare in today’s world. Nice touch.

Beautiful, well crafted, sharp.

It is beautiful. The craftsman work shows. And it is absolutely beyond a doubt the best knife I have ever known. Feels like I am cutting through nothing when I am cutting vegetables or fish. I can not recommend it enough.

Love It!

This was my first purchase of “real knife”, and I love it!
I don’t particularly enjoy cooking, but cutting veggies with this knife is my favorite part of cooking now.
It makes the process so much easier and quicker because it cuts so well (but not too quick...I want to keep all my fingers!)
I’d definitely buy another ones when I have my own kitchen!
