Nakiri Japanese vegetable knives are double-bevel knives designed specifically for use with vegetables.  The double-bevel vegetable knife is a great option for breaking down any fruits or vegetables.

This blade needs to be cared for more than stainless steel as it will rust easier, water should be removed immediately. It is a fascinating knife that can be used widely from home to professional.  Please do not cut bone or frozen food. It may cause the knife to chip or other damage.

This knife manufacturer is Fukui from Sakai Osaka established in 1912 with OUL being one of their brands. Fukui is one of the oldest knife manufacturers in Sakai. OUL means master skilled craftsmanship.

Out of the box I preped potatoes to boil. That knife feels like it knows what you want and the slice just happens. I WISH I had the knive when I worked in a kitchen.
