The blade is VG-10 stainless steel which is a very high quality stainless steel. Knives with VG-10 an HRC between 60-61 and have good edge retention along with very good corrosion resistance.

He proudly carries on a legacy dating back to 1927, representing the third generation of the esteemed Fujiwara Kogatana Seisakusho. From inception to completion, Yasuhiko personally oversees every step of the knife production process, ensuring meticulous attention to detail.
