Elevate your cooking with a Damascus Nakiri knife

Damascus Nakiri knives are designed to be thin knives that slice, cut & chop easily through vegetables to maintain the integrity of each component and freshness.

This is a Sakai Takayuki Western style series with AUS-10 stainless steel is resistant to rust.
The Damascus Nakiri knife has a hammer eye pattern full and is a fascinating knife that features a beautiful ripple that can be used widely from home to professional.

Japanese Nakiri knives have long, broad, and flat design allows for ease-of-use when implementing rocking, chopping, cutting, and mincing motions. The double bevel, wide blade allows cooks to prep whole cabbages with ease and the handle clearance allows plenty of room for your hand while working.  Easy to work with, it is understandable why the Damascus Nakiri knife is first up when daikon, cabbage, or other vegetables reach the countertop.

Chef knives, on the other hand, are usually longer and heavier, with thicker blades and curved edges. This design makes them better suited for tasks such as chopping meat or crushing garlic cloves.

The Japanese Nakiri knife cannot be used to cut bone or frozen food, as it may chip.  You should also avoid using a dishwasher to clean it.

The Nakiri is the perfect Japanese vegetable knife and will make a great addition to any kitchen.

Fantastic Knife

This is my second purchase from Hasu-Seizo and the quality between the two has been consistently very very good. The blade is, and based on my experience with my other knife, will stay razor sharp after plenty of regular usage. It feels well balanced and comfortable to use and is more or less the only knife I reach for when cooking. An absolute pleasure

Quality Knife

Got this knife about a year ago and it’s still as amazing as the day I got it. Holds a very sharp edge, the handle is in great shape and quality of the make is superb.
Feel it’s important to note that I take proper care of my knives, only hand washing them, storing them in there sheath when not in use, and wiping the knife dry/clean of anything that could cause corrosion.
I recommend highly to anyone looking for a great all around knife in the kitchen.

gorgeous

Beautiful knife. Will fit in nicely in our kitchen!

Saw varients of this knife all over the web - but was a bit of a hide-and-go-seek to find it with the Wa handle in the rich walnut handle. (saw western handles, and light cherry -- but i was dead-set on the walnut!)

Quickly shipped, and extremely good communication thru-out!
