Well Made

The knife holds well and feels solid. It has just enough weight to confidently maintain control in use but not so heavy that it will be tiresome to use for long periods. The finish is beautiful and it is sharp! The grip is understated (which is what I wanted) and feels good in my average size hands. It’s hard to get better quality for the price.

I tried ordering this knife from another merchant and they cancelled my order two days later with no explanation. Other merchants were out of stock. Luckily, Nadu-Seizo had it in stock and at a lower price. They prepared and shipped the order quickly and even asked about a discrepancy between my credit card address and my shipment address to ensure it was going to the correct place. I appreciated that the wrapped the knife in Japanese newspaper and included a personalized note and band aide “just in case”.

I will to looking here for my knife needs in the future. It’s great to support a small business who clearly respects and values their customers.

A Wonderful Knife

This is a wonderful knife. It is my “go to” knife because of the way it feels in my hand and the way it cuts. Considering the cost of other Japanese knives this was a great buy!
