This is a single sided Whetstone (Toishi) with 6000 grit, is perfect for finishing a knife or preparing it for an even finer grit stone.
There is a small stick stone in the box.
1. Wet the small stick stone and the base of stone.
2. Make it circle to the base stone, you will see a slurry begin to form.
3. Make sure the base stone is wet enough, then you sharp your knife.
Do not Soak in water! Just sparkle water
