Naniwa Japanese Toishi Sharpening Stone with Base - Grit #8000

This is a single sided 8000 grit Whetstone (Toishi) with base.  This is a finishing stone, designed to hone an edge or finish a knife that has already been run across a medium grit whetstone. Only a small amount of water should be used to wet the stone prior to use, it should not be soaked prior to use. 

These Japanese Whetstone's (Toishi) are made in Japan by the manufacturer Naniwa. 

DO NOT soak in water!  Just put little water on the surface
